Mother’s Day

Elizabeth Stone said,  “Making the decision to have a child – it is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ”   How true.

What Mom hasn’t stared into the phone waiting for the “arrived safe” text or listened for the door knob turning? What Mom hasn’t stared at her newborn and wondered “Is he still breathing?”  What Mom hasn’t wanted to storm the school when  news arrived that some other kid was unkind to their child.  We all know that ache that is ever present when our kids are sad or hurt.  And it is true, Mom’s are only as happy as their least happy child?

So this Mother’s Day we hope you are honored.  Guys, those of you who say, “She’s not my Mom” and discount wives on Mothers Day, if she bore your children, she deserves some applause and a lot of attention from you Sunday.

We love the great Moms out there.  You are doing important work. Thank you.
